Pupils from Heathfield International School Vientiane had an enriching field trip to the MRC Education and Visitor Center, where they explored the vital role of the Mekong River in sustaining life, livelihoods, and biodiversity across the region. Through engaging discussions and interactive exhibits, pupils gained valuable insights into the Mekong River Commission (MRC)’s mission, the importance of sustainable water management, and how countries collaborate to protect this shared resource.

Thank you to the MRC team for their warm welcome and for providing such an inspiring learning experience. We hope this visit encourages our pupils to become future advocates for environmental sustainability and regional cooperation.
